From your first email to your grant

How it works.

Seven stages, no surprises. You will always know what happens next, what it costs, and whether a pathway is realistic, in writing, before any money changes hands.

  1. A woman typing a first message at a cluttered family dining table, a toddler playing on the rug behind her 01
Stage one Day 1 · no commitment

    You write to us, briefly

An email or our short form. Tell me where you are, who you are, your profession and qualification, where you want to be, and anything already in motion, a job offer, a course, a partner with citizenship.

  2. A laptop on a kitchen worktop showing a Tasman Visa written assessment, a child colouring at the table behind 02
Stage two Week one · no jargon

    A short written assessment

I assess whether you have realistic pathways to achieve your immigration goals. You get it in writing, no legalese, before you have spent a cent.

  3. A one to one video consultation on a laptop in a living room, one person on the call 03
    Stage three After the brief

    An initial consultation

A detailed conversation about your circumstances, your goals, and the possible pathways available to you. Afterwards, you receive a written summary explaining your options, the requirements, and all costs involved.

  4. A Tasman Visa engagement agreement open as a PDF on a kitchen table, a child running past in the hallway 04
    Stage four Once we agree

    We sign an agreement

A clear written engagement letter, scope, fees, timeline, so we both know what we have committed to before any work begins.

  5. The Tasman Visa secure upload open on a laptop in a family living room, documents ticked off one by one 05
Stage five Weeks 2 – many

    Evidence, properly prepared

Collecting documents, financial records, references, and qualifications. No checklists buried in PDFs, I work alongside you and explain what is actually needed.

  6. A man at the window of an apartment overseas, looking out over tiled rooftops while he waits for a decision 06
    Stage six Lodgement → grant

    Lodgement & the long wait

I handle communication with the authorities, respond to requests, and provide small reassurances during the wait.

  7. A family walking out through airport arrivals into the sun with a loaded luggage trolley 07
    Stage seven After grant

    Settlement

Useful information to help you settle in, then a check-in once you are actually there.

★★★★★ On the process itself

Suzy made everything so much easier than I expected. She walked us through every step, answered all our questions quickly, and gave us realistic timelines.

The first written assessment is the whole point: you find out where you really stand before you commit to anything.

No checklists buried in PDFs. I work alongside you, in plain language, the whole way.
