Fruzsi Moving to New Zealand with Ease

Our clients, a lovely family from Hungary, had a clear vision for their future: to live and work in a serene, natural environment where they could raise their two young children and enjoy the company of their dogs. Their destination of choice? The breathtakingly beautiful South Island of New Zealand, known for its stunning landscapes and tranquil lifestyle.

The path to relocating to another country is seldom easy. The family faced the daunting task of not only finding jobs in a new country but also navigating the complex process of obtaining visas and adapting to a different culture, which required immense resilience and determination.

Suzanne made the impossible possible! She helped my husband and me with everything we needed, even when it came to negotiating salaries.

She is highly efficient!

Her communication skills are top-notch; she’s efficient yet friendly in her approach.
We could call her to calm me down again in excitement before the start of our journey! Which helps put people at ease before they start their journey moving abroad.

It’s hard to believe that we are so lucky, but it is true. The companies competed for my husband, and Suzanne helped with the salary negotiation part too! In addition, she helped us get a much better visa option than what would’ve been available without her job search assistance.

She’s not just helpful in the professional realm but also in everyday life. We’re grateful that she made moving to a new country much more accessible, especially with two children under four and two 30kg dogs. We are very grateful to Suzanne for making this difficult task easier– to move abroad to the other side of the world.

Now we are settled in Christchurch. One month is over, and she is still asking us if we are alright and do we need any help to find our way in a new city and country.

We love it here! We are good!

Fruzsi has found her calling in her new home, working as a dog trainer. This role not only aligns perfectly with her love for animals but also resonates with her desire to be close to nature, a key reason for her family’s move. She spends her days training and caring for dogs, ensuring they are well-behaved and happy, which brings her immense satisfaction. Meanwhile, her husband has successfully established himself as a locksmith. His skills are highly sought after in their new community, where he’s known for his expertise and reliability.

Some fun facts about us: we didn’t relocate with any pets, but as we settled in New Zealand and our children grew, we chose to expand our family. Millie, a Goldendoodle, is the newest addition to our household.

Did you know that a Goldendoodle is a crossbreed dog that combines the traits of a Golden Retriever and a Poodle? This breed is known for its friendly and affectionate nature, making it an excellent family pet. Goldendoodles are often intelligent, easy to train, and have a gentle disposition. They tend to have a curly or wavy coat that is a mix of their parent breeds, which can be beneficial for those with allergies as they are often considered to be hypoallergenic due to the Poodle’s influence. Their sociable and loving temperament makes them a delightful companion, especially for families with children.

Millie has quickly become an integral part of our family here in Nelson, New Zealand. She’s not just a pet; she’s a playmate, a comforter, and a source of endless joy for our children. Her gentle and loving nature makes her the perfect companion for our growing kids. They spend hours playing together, and it’s heartwarming to see how she patiently lets them brush her or involve her in their games. Millie’s presence has also been educational for the children, teaching them responsibility and empathy as they learn to care for her. It’s truly remarkable to see the bond they’ve formed, and how she’s helping shape their childhood with happiness and laughter. Isn’t she adorable?
